The Bamjimba reggae collective and dub poet Mark Mace Smith perform for UK Sickle Cell Society in North West of England

The benefit concert on 16th Feb 2007 at The Gregson Arts & Community Centre was a great success. Nearly 300 people attended. Bamjimba featured singer l Fata blew the roof off the gaff! Dr As'ah NkohKwoh gave his blessing etc. A lot of money was raised...

In line with Harrow's Black History Month 2006 highlighting black scientists and inventors, the BTWSC Black S/Heroes Award 2006 goes to mathematician, physicist and computer scientist Prof Francis KA Allotey, in whose honour the BTWSC Prof Allotey Science Prize will be launched at The N-Word & Insidious Racism Debate.
